About Me
I'm a recent graduate of the University of La Verne, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. I also hold an associate’s degree in Psychology from Citrus College.
Throughout my time in college, I combined my passion for storytelling, community, and creativity. I served as Editor-in-Chief for La Verne Magazine and worked as a staff writer for the Campus Times, gaining experience in both leadership and reporting. Alongside my writing, I also enjoy capturing stories visually through photography, working with both film and digital cameras to bring a creative lens to everything I do.
Growing up in Southern California in a Hispanic and Mexican household has deeply shaped the way I see the world. I love approaching stories from fresh and diverse perspectives, always looking for the human connection at the center of every piece.
Outside of journalism, golf has been a big part of my life — I competed on the women's golf teams at both Citrus College and the University of La Verne. Whether it’s on the course, behind the camera, or through my writing, I’m always looking for ways to stay curious, creative, and connected.
Thanks for taking the time to explore my work!
